Glaxony is a capitalist country of a similar size to Sunsphere that lies directly to its south along the West Coast of the continent. It's major geographical features include Glaxon Bay, which is fed directly by the Great Sea, as well as a small northeastern coast of Ek Lake.
In year 38, Glaxony and then-independent New Texas had a short war in which the Glaxons attempted to take over New Texas. New Texas protected their borders, mainly through the use of early-tech landmines, which remained buried in several spots until Humphrey Appleby's government removed and repurposed them in 239.
In 239, Glaxony was involved in a capitalist-led coup of the elected government in the southwestern country of Tasmania, which led to the use of chemical weapons accused to have been provided by the Humphrey Appleby government.

Tasmania is a small formerly-democratic capitalist country on the southeastern coast of the province. It underwent a capitalist-backed coup backed by Glaxony in 239 -- pro-democracy socialist revolutionaries received weapons from the Humphrey Appleby government which were rumoured to have been utilised against pro-capitalist citizens and militias defending the new government. The event led to the Appleby's resignation and the ending of Sunspherean arms provisions to the revolutionaries.
Sunsphere regularly accepts Tasmanian refugees fleeing the country in the wake of an ongoing civil war.

Lilliputia is a small country on the eastern coast of the continent, bordering both the Northern Sea and Ek Lake. The country was previously a group of small territories but was united under the warlord Halungu Ironsun in 112, who nationalized the country's diamond mining industries to fund the building of his government.
In 221, global diamond prices collapsed and Lilliputia went into deep recession, triggering a military coup of the country. In 237, after the country was found to be utilizing slave labour (including Sunspherean citizens) in their diamond mines, the Grain Greg government intervened in the country through the assassination of military leaders. These actions created a power vacuum which exists too this day, with multiple militias and local governing bodies claiming certain lands within the country.
